Heat Network / Customer Service Administrator

The basic role is to provide administrative support to the Heat Network Managers and Customer Service team.

This role requires good organisational, numeracy, customer service, time management and communicational skills.

About the role:

Data Energy Management Services is a well-established organisation providing the complete energy solution for Managing Agents, encompassing heat, gas, electricity, water and renewables.

There are various departments that deal with the different aspects of the business. This role is predominantly focused on our resident level metering and billing product, where our job is to calculate the costs for final customers and bill them on their actual consumption.

Role Overview and Responsibilities:

The Role:

  • Job Location: Bishop Stortford
  • Hours Per Week: 8.30 am – 5.00 pm
  • Role Type: Permanent
  • Reporting to: Senior Heat Network Manager


  • Assisting with email/post correspondence
  • Obtaining copy invoices from the billing system
  • Updating records
  • Liaising between departments
  • Composing proposals and agreements
  • Updating tariff cards
  • Drafting reports
  • Gathering information for onboarding of developments
  • Assisting with client and customer mailshots
  • Ad-hoc admin tasks
