We’re on the hunt for a proactive and creative Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing team.Â
About the Role:
This exciting role spans across the full marketing mix, with a strong focus on managing digital multi-channel campaigns, including LinkedIn Ads, audience growth and content creation.
Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you’ll deliver day-to-day marketing operations for both companies, Data Energy and DMG Delta, act as our brand ambassador and help reshape our approach to events moving beyond traditional formats to create and deliver engaging podcasts, webinars and roundtables.
With new Ofgem regulations, a focus on heat networks and Net Zero targets, we’re going through a real growth phase. Under the Trinergy umbrella, we now offer a Total Heat & Energy Solution and need someone ready to help engage new audiences and drive tangible results.

- Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 p.a.
- Hours: 8.30 am to 5.00 pm
- Job Type: Full-time, permanent. Onsite working

Key Responsibilities, Overview and Expectations:
- Digital Marketing & Campaigns (LinkedIn Focus)
- Audience Targeting: Research, define and segment target audiences for campaigns.
- Social Media Growth Management: Manage and grow our LinkedIn – our largest channel to interact with our audience, frequently testing new content formats.
- Campaign Planning: Collaborate with the Group Marketing Manager to develop LinkedIn campaign strategies aligned with business objectives. Innovate and adapt approaches to improve engagement and campaign outcomes.
- Content Creation: Write compelling ad copy and collaborate on visual assets for all formats of LinkedIn sponsored campaigns.
- Ad Setup: Create and manage ads in LinkedIn Campaign Manager, including selecting formats, budgeting, scheduling, tracking and reporting.
- Optimisation: Monitor performance metrics (CTR, CPC, impressions, conversions) daily, adjusting targeting, bids or creative to improve results.
- A/B Testing: Run split tests to evaluate different ad creatives, headlines and CTAs for optimal engagement and conversion.
- Retargeting Campaigns: Set up and manage retargeting strategies to re-engage website visitors and nurture existing leads.
- Lead Generation: Develop and monitor LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms to capture data and drive pipeline growth.
- Campaign Reporting: Produce regular reports detailing campaign performance, key insights and recommendations for future strategies.
- Social Media Scheduling: Manage and schedule engaging posts across LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Support On Delivering Reports on performance, including engagement, conversions and other KPIs to stakeholders.
Content Creation & Communications
- Write compelling content for social media, emails, blogs and more.
- Email marketing: Manage copywriting, graphics, strategy and optimisation for our campaigns, newsletter, service updates and promotions.
- Oversee customer communications (residents) and explore ways to expand our social presence.
- Create marketing collateral including digital, sales support assets, templates, presentations, merchandise, brochures, guides and event materials.
- Identify content gaps and provide recommendations for implementation based on driving traffic and conversions.
Event Management
- Assist with planning and managing events, including hospitality, social and internal events, trade shows, webinars, podcasts and roundtables.
- Organise and attend in-person events, seminars and exhibitions where relevant.
Analytics & Optimisation
- Track and analyse performance across campaigns and platforms. Report on key metrics and recommend actions for growth.
- Use data insights to suggest and implement improvements to campaigns and the website.
Website & SEO
- Maintain and update the company website to ensure it’s always optimised.
- Implement SEO improvements to increase traffic and engagement. Optimise content and monitor the performance of keywords to maximise ROI.
- Proactively suggest new features or content updates.

Essential Skills and Experience:Â
- Graduate-level education and/or 2 years’ B2B marketing experience.
- Â +1 year of LinkedIn Ads experience and B2B campaign management.
- Strong copywriting skills with a flair for engaging content.
- Highly organised with great attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:Â
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
- Familiarity with WordPress, SEO and Google Analytics.
- Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Event management experience.
- Experience with Monday.com
