This article, is part of our quarterly Energy and Heat Network Update series. Every quarter, we share what matters for property managers, managing agents and developers – from regulatory changes to expert insight and industry events.

Here’s what’s new, and what to keep on your radar.

Payment Plans Are on the Way

From 21 July 2025, we’ll be rolling out payment plans to help residents spread their annual energy charges more evenly across the year.

It’s a simple step to offer more flexibility – part of wider efforts across the sector to support residents with rising costs.

We’ve made the process as straightforward as possible. But if you’d prefer not to include payment plans at one or more of your sites – or you’d like to handle things differently – just let us know by 18 July 2025.

Recent Feedback

At Royal Mint Gardens, we were brought in to support the letting agent with a metering issue that had been causing resident concern. Our team provided clear consumption data, recalculated charges where needed, and helped bring clarity and reassurance to a complex situation.

“We were kept well-informed every step of the way, giving us complete peace of mind.”

Here’s what our Business Operations Manager, Katherine Baker, had to say:

“There was real energy in the room – not just about the challenges ahead, but the opportunity to improve how heat networks work across the UK…”
