We appointed Data Energy to provide a heat network for our new-build Union Park project at Packet Boat Lane in Uxbridge.
The 134 apartments within the development are served by a centralised energy centre that supplies heated water, allowing our residents to access the thermal energy for domestic purposes, typically space heating and hot water. The thermal energy taken from the system is measured with a heat meter, with the resulting metering data being used to recharge the resident for the energy that they have used from the system.
Data Energy supplied and installed 134 Sharky 774 ultrasonic wireless Mbus heat meters, which were fitted to the Heat Interface Unit installed in each of the apartments. We instructed Data Energy to commission all units ready for data to be collected via a wireless handheld device that feeds the info back to the metering platform for ingestion and bill production.
We have benefited from a dedicated Energy Manager who ensures that any queries are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner, thus enabling us to report with confidence to our clients at all times.
Data Energy have provided us with a reliable, consistent service and have proved to be a responsive partner and key player to the success of this scheme.
I couldn’t recommend Data Energy more highly as they continually provide us, our clients and our residents with an exceptionally high level of satisfaction.
